I began my teaching career training in inner city Norwich where I worked alongside children with SEN within a resource provision.  Following a move to the Northwest of England, I continued working with children with SEN as SENDCO and teaching within KS1 for 10 years as a senior leader.  I love working with children, parents, and agencies to ensure the best provision is in place for every child to succeed and to make sure that every opportunity is available to them. 

In 2021 I moved back to Cornwall where I joined NCLT working in KS2 at Camelford Primary school and SENDCo at St Teath Primary school, two years ago I moved to St Teath primary full time and worked as Year 2 teacher and SENDCo on the senior leadership team before becoming headteacher in September 2023. 

My passion remains focusing on emotional support and nurture for all the children whilst aspiring for the best for them, working together to become stronger together and I feel very privileged to be part of this journey.
