Headteacher, Otterham Primary Schools

After completing a PGCE specialising in Science and Geography, I taught within KS2 for 6 years in a large primary school in Malmesbury, Wiltshire.

Following a move with my family to Cornwall, I taught part time at Otterham Primary before completing my NPQH and being appointed Headteacher of the school. I was a teaching Head for 11 years at Otterham before becoming Executive Head of both Otterham and St Breward Primary Schools in September 2017.  In September 2023 I returned to Otterham as a full-time teaching Headteacher. 

I am passionate about providing a learning journey that meets the needs of the individual child. Children should receive as wide a range of experiences as we can possibly offer, especially in the creative arts and activities that take place outdoors.
