Anne Howard
Headteacher, Camelford Primary School
I have loved my career in education, and continue to be passionate about having an impact on so many children's lives.
Being Canadian, I trained at McGuill University and came to the UK for the first time as an exchange student at Rolle College, Exmouth. I began my teaching career at Newquay Junior School before moving aboard to teach in Sri Lanka and Qatar. Travel continues to be a passion of mine. I then returned to Newquay where I was Deputy Headteacher. I joined Camelford Primary School and the other NCLT schools in September 2017 as the Deputy Headteacher. I was appointed the Headteacher of Camelford Primary School in 2019, the school 'where every person matters' which really says everything about us. I feel very honoured to be part of this school & Trust and look forward to continuing my career helping to change children's lives.
